    What is a shower Cabin?

A shower cabin is a self-contained shower enclosure made of glass. All the water stays in the shower so you don’t need to tile walls. You also eliminate problems with mould on grout or shower curtains. Shower cabins are available in shapes and sizes to fit any bathroom.

What are the benefits of a shower cabin?

The main benefits of a shower cabin are that it is more affordable than tiling and requires less maintenance. With nothing installed behind walls, they are leak-free and often come with more features such as jets, lights and Bluetooth.

    Frequently Asked Questions
    How Long For Delivery?
For smaller items delivery is either next day or 48 hours as standard Medium items like tower towers are 2-3 working days Large items (showers, sauna and hot tubs) have a 5-7 working day turnaround although many have an express delivery option for 48 hours or even next day delivery
Do I need to tile under or behind the unit?
It is recommended that you fully tile under your shower, steam shower or whirlpool bath, this is because they are designed to be freestanding and as such may be required to be slid away from the wall for service access. Tiling fully under the tub enables you to slide the shower/whirlpool with ease. Tiling behind your shower is optional as the glass at the rear of the cabin is not transparent. We would recommend that you only need to tile one or two rows of tile behind the edges to ensure a tidy finish.
what are the water connections at the back of the shower?
The water connections at the rear of the shower originate from the diverter assembly and have 15mm threads. Fitting flexible hoses onto this shower should then go onto isolation valves then feeding to the Hot and Cold water supply in the property. Ideally you should ensure that you finish your pipework around 1 Mtr from floor level in the corner for corner fitting showers, or in the middle of the shower, if you have purchased a shower that fits against a single wall. You must make the connection for the pipes with an 15mm Isolation valve
    Are shower cabins any good?
Shower cabins are really good for value and performance. They cut the cost of tiling and installation. They’re much easier to maintain than traditional showers and nothing is hidden behind walls or out of reach for maintenance. The glass is also easier to clean instead of scrubbing tiling
Are shower cabins easy to install?
High-quality shower cabins are really easy to install. You only need a few, common tools and DIY know-how to put them together. Then you just connect the shower to the mains. Alternatively, you could get a plumber to do that bit for you, but for the most part, it is only screws and bolts
How much does it cost to install a shower cabin?
You can install a shower cabin yourself if you’re competent at DIY. If you’re not, then you’d usually be looking at £200 -£250 for labour. This would depend on where you live and on whether you need someone to assemble the shower cabin or just to connect it or do anything additional to building the shower
