The Whitby Heavy Duty Picnic Table is specifically designed for demanding environments, offering exceptional strength, longevity, and weather resistance. Its sturdy construction features 40mm thick Scandinavian Pine timbers for both the table top and seating, with the remaining framework also crafted from thick, durable timbers.

The wood is pressure treated with Tanalith E, a deep-penetrating preservative that protects against rot, decay, and fungal growth. Unlike standard treatments, pressure treatment ensures long-lasting protection by embedding the preservative deeper into the timber. Anti-warp grooves are incorporated into the design to minimize buckling or warping caused by temperature fluctuations.

Natural splitting and cracking may occur, adding to the wood's rustic charm, but these will not compromise the strength or lifespan of the table.

This table features a 40mm parasol hole, allowing you to pair it with our 2.5m garden parasols (sold separately) for added shade and comfort. The flat-packed design includes all necessary components, such as M8 zinc-plated coach bolts, for quick and hassle-free assembly.
