There's also environmentally-friendlystyrene window panes, shatter resistant and safer than traditional glass, for extra peace of mind.

The Shire Playhut Playhouse is made from a high-grade shiplap pine in a sturdy tongue and groove construction, meaning it is better sealed from the elements, as well as making it more aesthetically pleasing. The floor and roof are constructed from solid sheet. Oriented Strand Board (OSB).

This Shire playhouse is supplied with a dip-treated base coat as standard, with a top coat available as an option for a stronger and golden brown finish. The Playhut does not come pre-painted, giving you a blank canvas to tailor to the children's desires. The manufacturer recommends applying a water-based top coat of your choice, preventing the timber from weathering and therefore making the playhouse last longer.
