The Hampton Premium summerhouse is packed with standard features not found in many summerhouses such as the proper joinery full glazed double doors with mitred beading. Two opening joinery windows. The matching criss-cross windows and doors not only let light flood into the summerhouse and are great for allowing plenty of air to flow in and out of the summerhouse, they also make this summerhouse look very stylish.

Produced to the highest standards using quality timbers from sustainable sources. Manufactured in the UK Shire are renown for their quality.

Shire buildings are made from a high grade ship-lap tongue and groove construction. This is distinguished from fast grown type timber used on cheaper sheds from other manufactures. Tongue and groove construction means the building is better sealed from the elements.

The timber used is a continental slow grown timber. Slower grown timber means tighter grain, extra strength and longer life.

Treatment: all Shire buildings are supplied with a factory applied first coat treatment in a honey brown water based product. The summerhouse will require a second coat wood preservative to be applied and you can use whatever colour you like to transform your summerhouse.

Walls & Roof are constructed using softwood planed tongue and groove shiplap pattern boarding. Actual thickness is 12mm.

Frame: A robust Planed 35x35mm (1 1/2' x 1 1/2') framework (walls and floor) that gives the building strength. Floor is planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding. Actual thickness of timber is 12mm

Windows are properly morticed and tenoned. They are opening, profiled, and weather resistant. ie The window has a unique profiled 'lip' that covers the aperture of the opening in the panel making it weather resistant. Casement stays have 2 levels of opening.

Doors. Joinery double doors glazed in 3mm horticultural glass

Glazing 3mm horicultural glass. All glazing is retained by profiled beading which is pre-mitred (no awkward corners to be cut).

Treatment: All Shire garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire the manufacturer recommends that you apply a water based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer's instructions.

Supplied flat packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price with clear easy to follow instructions.
