The Jersey boasts a high quality, 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove construction. On shiplap tongue and groove sheds, the individual boards close together tightly. This gives the building great strength and the interior fantastic protection from the elements by encouraging water run off.
The Jersey gets extra strength and durability from its 34mm x 34mm framework, which is sometimes as much as 20% thicker than the framing on similar products from other manufacturers in this price bracket. The Jersey also includes a 12mm tongue and groove floor as standard. This is another quality feature that is seldom found on sheds of this price and ensures you have a shed floor that has an impressive load capacity.
Its roof is made from 8mm oriented strand board, (OSB) a robust material that is weather resistant. Mineral roofing felt is also included to add to the sheds weather resistance and provide protection against damp and rot.
The sheds three opening windows are glazed with horticultural glass for a clearer pane and long lasting clarity. This is another selling point of the Jersey as many other sheds that are this affordable will use Perspex or a similar material, which often dulls over time. Plus, the windows have a unique profiled 'lip' that covers the opening in the panel which adds further weather resistance. The windows have two levels of opening and they can be located anywhere on the side elevations of your shed to suit your needs.
Wide opening double doors allow easy access when taking items in and out of the Jersey and they are ledged for additional strength. A padbolt, to which you can attach a padlock, (padlock not supplied) is also included to provide security for valuables stored inside the shed.
