Light, airy and built from premium materials throughout, the Shire Peckover 2.4m x 2.4m Log Cabin Summerhouse (19mm) is a cross between a shed and summer house, so is a lovely place in which to relax and great for garden storage too.
Constructed in the UK from 19mm interlocking, high-grade pine boards, this wooden summerhouse's cladding is more than 50% thicker than many other premium models. Together with the 12mm tongue and groove floor and roof, this ensures unbeatable strength and durability.
The floor is fitted with pressure-treated bearers to aid air circulation and prevent rot from developing in this key area. The apex roof includes a weatherproof felt cover to keep out the rain, along with 2 diamond-shaped finials to round off the summer house's very attractive appearance.
The door and window are expertly made using traditional, skilled joinery, so will withstand whatever nature throws at them. The door is 2/3 glazed and fitted with a key-operated lock to keep valuables safe. The additional opening window can be positioned either side of the door. It ensures the interior receives plenty of natural light and ventilation. Both windows are made from real glass.
The high-grade pine used to build this wooden summer house/ shed is FSC-certified, so only sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests. It is delivered untreated/ unpainted and should be coated in a high-quality wood preservative upon assembly and annually, thereafter, to protect the summer house from rot and fungal decay. The customer can apply coloured wood preservative, if desired.
