The ballast is fitted in line to the ring tube ceiling light found in steam and shower cabins. More recently the majority of steam and shower enclosures are fitted with LED ring tubes, which are far more efficient than the older Fluorescent style. We do recommend customers look at changing over to the LED ring tube which in the long run will be cost-efficient. LED has around 80,000 hour lifespan and required no ballast. Available in both blue and white and is a simple retro-fits. Suitable for many steam and shower brands such as Vidalux, Aqualusso and Aquaplus.
