Features
As with all playhouses sold by elbec, the 4 x 6 Shire Bunny Tower Playhouse has been developed with the vulnerable age of its users in mind, and features many details to help protect children playing inside and out. The two windows - one in the door and another beside it which can be opened - are each glazed with styrene. This transparent material allows plenty of light into the playhouse and is virtually shatterproof. Unlike traditional glass, this will not break into potentially dangerous shards that can cause injury. Both the opening window and the single door also feature safety hinges to keep small fingers away from moving parts.
The basis of the Shire Bunny Playhouse's quality is found in its wall cladding. This 12mm shiplap cladding is made up of horizontal boards that fit tightly together in a 'tongue and groove' construction. The timber used is a sustainably sourced pine wood that has been pre-treated with a base coat as standard to protect the timber from rot and wear during transit and assembly.
This playhouse is supplied flat-packed for easier handling and assembly. All fittings and parts are included in the delivery, along with detailed instructions so that you can put together the playhouse at home. We strongly advise putting your playhouse together with at least one other person, and you are likely to have a smoother experience if already familiar with similar practical projects.
