The general timber used in the construction of the Barnsdale Log Cabin is a slow grown soft wood that has been selected thanks to its tough defence against the outside elements. The timber has stronger core layers thanks to the added time that the timber has been provided with in terms of growth and development. The timber is machine cut into the 19mm thick tongue and groove cladding which composes the walls, flooring and roof. The cladding is attached to the solid frame and this creates the tough build the cabin boasts.
The apex roof is designed cleverly to keep rain running off instantly and efficiently and thanks to the roof felt, the timber will be safe from rain damage.
On the front of the Barnsdale Log Cabin you have the attractive double doors and these doors have been glazed of the way with a tough storm resistant glass. This will allow in the sun's rays which will illuminate the interior space. When building the Cabin you can choose which side you wish to add the fully glazed window which will also act as a great light source. During the summer heat the window can be opened so that fresh air can flow. The double doors however have a handy rubber seal which will stop heat escaping during the winter months allowing the cabin to be used all year round.
When it comes to the building process, the Barnsdale Log Cabin can be assembled in a few hours thanks to the straightforward design and the instructions that the cabin comes with. However you choose to use the cabin whether it for be relaxation, work or storage, you will not be disappointed.
