All the timber used by Shire garden buildings is from sustainable sources so that you can feel good about buying any of their products. Shire garden buildings are manufactured here in the UK from timber which is distinguished from fast grown type timber used on cheaper products from other manufacturers. The timber used is a continental slow grown timber. Slower grown timber means tighter grain, extra strength and longer life.
Treatment: All Shire garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire the manufacturer recommends that you apply a water based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer's instructions.
Supplied flat packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price with clear easy to follow instructions.
